Our curriculum is based around the belief that we learn to learn. Essential foundations are literacy and mathematics – as these are necessary for life and learning. Our curriculum is relevant and applies to skills for successful living as an active and informed citizen. Our curriculum is based on developing skills, knowledge and attitudes and is delivered through an inquiry approach to learning. Fun and active involvement of learners is key.

We offer support for children within our home learning centre. We also have specialist teachers in reading recovery, literacy, ESOL and numeracy who work with small groups of children. Alongside our delivery by classroom teachers we have outside expertise in the form of drama teaching from Evelyn Mann, PE skills with AJ from Kelly sports and Swimsation coaches.
